Welcome to Winter Training!

SEMINAR: Heather Holly-Freitag brings decades of experience in navigating the college application landscape, providing free tips and strategies when seeking, examining, applying, and funding college and/or post-high school options.  Preparation for post-high school begins in middle school, where students make academic decisions that can have a lasting impact on their transcripts. Don’t miss out on this free seminar for students (and their parents) in grades 7-12.

“Every fall, hundreds of thousands of kids head off to college for the first time – but not all of them go to the right school. Some end up coming  home after the first semester – and dropping out entirely. Data consistently shows that 1 in 4 first-year students drop out during their first year of schooling. It doesn’t have to be like that! There are colleges out there that are perfect for every student’s unique personality and needs.” - Options Abound

Most families stay for the Saturday night activities and return home on Sunday.

FRIDAY

PARKING:

TEAM TENT: We have a designated team tent. At this time, I do not know where the tent will be stationed, but there will be an 10’ Whisper flag outside of the tent, so keep an eye out for that, ask for directions from an official, and/or text/call me when you arrive.

DINNER: Vicino Italian Restaurant, 350 Massachusetts Avenue, Suite 150Indianapolis, IN 46204. Click here for a location map. 4pm reservations for 40, so please RSVP to coach Dave by Tuesday evening. If you forget to RSVP, that is fine, just RSVP when you can (hopefully quickly though).

COURSE PREVIEW (OPTIONAL): Coach Dave will be at Magnuson Park at 3:30pm on Friday for a course preview. This will allow us time to check into our hotel room (see Lodging below) and make it to dinner (see Dinner below) on-time. Plan to depart Magnuson Park by 4pm (depending on weather and the timeliness of everyone showing up) so we can get to the hotel for check-in. The course preview should take 30-60 minutes. For those arriving later, try to arrive before 4pm for an abbreviated version of the course.

LODGING (booking links coming soon):
