Welcome to Winter Training!
WHO: Registered runners preparing for spring track (or spring XC for some middle school runners). Grades 3-12. However, HS runners should prioritize lifting with their HS team over attending Whisper lifting sessions.
WHAT: Easy run and/or light training session at the track, followed by BYOS. We will return to the track after yogurt for pick-up.
WHAT ELSE: BYOS - In an effort to raise awareness around single-use plastics and their environmental impacts, Bring Your Own Spoon for a trip to Yogurt Time toward the end of practice! No money required, just a spoon!
WHEN: 5:15-6:45pm
Where: Clark College OSC (O’Connell Sports Center), second floor in room 291 (classroom). Park or drop-off in parking lot Red 1 or Red 2. Click here to view a campus map.
What to Bring/Wear: Runners should bring a reusable water bottle with them (no plastic water bottles), and if they get light headed while lifting weights, bringing a light snack is advised.
