XC Championship Meet

Welcome!

The Washington State Middle School XC Championship meet is a celebration of running for runners in grades 6-8 in the state of Washington (5th grade is okay if your middle school begins at that grade level).  We hope you can join us in celebration of your hard work over the course of the season, along with some of the top middle school runners throughout our evergreen state!

Because this meet is an out-of-season meet for many middle school programs in the state of Washington, runners are required to register as a middle school club by creating a team name similar to the school or area in which they reside (ex: Thomas Jefferson Club). NOTE: Runners competing on a middle school "club" scoring team must attend the same school.  These teams will select a club team name at the time of registration (Teams will input their club team name at the time  of registration), similar to high school runners registering for NXR.  Middle school runners may also compete unattached.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: There are no minimum standards for this meet, however, we are hoping all runners can complete the 3k distance in under 22-minutes.  Beginners to advanced are welcome to participate!
WAIVER: Parents must complete the Participant Release Form prior to packet pick-up.
REGISTRATION: $15/runner. See athletic.net to register as an individual or part of a team. If you are on a team, you’ll be asked for your team name toward the end of the registration process.
LOCATION: Pacific Community Park, 1515 NE 164th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98684
DATE: Friday, October 20, 2023
TIME: 4:45pm 3k girls, 5:15pm 3k boys
COURSE: Pacific Park 3k, mostly grass and compact gravel.  300m of sidewalk/asphalt.
HIGHLIGHTS: Click here to share team or individual accomplishments by your runners!
TEAM SCORING: Top-5 runners from each team will be the scoring members.
AWARDS: Courtesy of one of our premier sponsors, Clark County Running Club, the top-50 girls and top-50 boys will receive a finisher medal.  We will celebrate the top finishers at the conclusion of the boys race.  The winning team will walk home with a much coveted Lava Lamp!
PARKING: West and/or east entrance to the park.  Harmony Elementary School is NE of Pacific Park offering parking spaces after 3:15pm.  Please do not park in the Pacific Middle School parking lot, which is the neighboring school to Harmony ES.  Residential spaces south of Pacific Park is also plentiful.
RESTROOMS: With the dog park centered on the north side of the park, there are restrooms on both east and west sides of the dog park.
T-SHIRTS: Pre-ordered shirts are $25. Shirts on-site are $30.
