Who: Registered runners preparing for the 2018 Track season.
What: Speed-Endurance training for runners ranging from the 100m to the 2-mile.
When: To ensure the most effective use of our time, attendance will be taken at 9:05am, at which time we begin our warm-up, divide into predetermined groups, and complete the first half of our training (on the track). The second half, cross-training from 10:10-11:00am, will take place in the gymnasium, room 128. Practice will conclude promptly at 11:00am.
Please note: SW Medical Center/Peace Health is teaming up with the Quinn Driscoll Foundation to screen young athletes for cardiovascular arrhythmia's. If you would like to have your child screened, you may do so at anytime on this day, but practice will be held 9-11am. Be sure to provide a post-workout snack for your child, prior to the screening. Screening is from 8am-4pm.
