COURSE PREVIEW: We will perform a course preview (not required, just a way to stretch the legs and learn the course) at 4pm on Friday, October 9.

SATURDAY RACES:

  • 8am Community Open 5k

  • 9am Elementary Boys & Girls 1500m

  • 9:30am Middle School Boys 2850m

  • 10:00am Middle School Girls 2850m

Feel free to stick around after the race and watch some of the best runners from eastern Washington take part!

LOCATION: Carmichael Middle School, 620 Thayer Dr, Richland, WA 99352

LODGING: Here are some good options along the Columbia River, prices from Expedia, located near the meet venue:

  • The Lodge at Columbia Point at 530 Columbia Point Drive, Richland, WA. $175-$300, on the river, no continental breakfast, but very nice.

  • Hampton Inn by Hilton Richland/Tri-Cities at 486 Bradley Blvd, Richland, WA. $127-$250, on the river, complimentary breakfast.

  • Homewood Suites by Hilton Richland, 1060 George Washington Way, Richland, WA. $102-$200, on the river, complimentary breakfast included.

TEAM DINNER: We will aim to have a team dinner at Casa Mia, 6-8pm. It’s better to arrive late than not at all. If you cannot make it in time, come for dessert!

WHISPER RUNNERS: Arrive at least 75-minutes prior to the start of your race to get your race bib from Coach Dave, and relax until we begin our warmup, at approximately 50-minutes before the start of the race.

PARKING: Carmichael MS or Richland HS (across the street).

WHISPER RUNNERS: Once at the tent, put on your race bib (on the front of your singlet below the logo) and relax until we begin our warmup, which will begin approximately 45-minutes before the start of the race.

WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle, towel, and an extra change of clothes for after the race if you feel it is necessary.

Restrooms (port-a-potties) will be available at the venue.
