Who: Washougal School District Stride for Education event.

What: Student Stride for Education in Washougal is hosting a 5k for runners in grades K-12, and a Kitty Dash for runners younger than kindergarten. Whisper is there for two reasons: host an expo booth, and volunteer for the event. We are seeking 10-12 volunteers.

When: Races begin at 7:30am with the High School 5k, and the final race of the day is the Kitty Dash at 10:45am. See the website for start time details. Our booth will be set-up by 6:30am, parents may drop off their child with me at the booth, or remain at the venue to lend a hand.

What to Bring/Wear: Layers of clothes you can peal off if needed. It might be wise to bring a snack and water.
