WHO: Registered Whisper runners
WHAT: Intermediate & advanced middle distance and distance running training, plus conditioning exercises.
WHEN: Please drop your child off no earlier than 5-minutes before their scheduled start time: We will start and finish on-time
WHERE: We will meet at the Hudson’s Bay High School Track, then train at facilities in the local area
WEATHER & WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Please be sure your child is dressed for the conditions. Wearing layers that can easily be taken off and wrapped around their waistline is advised. A headlamp will be encouraged once the nights begin to fall a little earlier, which is around mid-October. Other items to consider: a towel to dry off and keep your car from getting messy (sometimes the kids track in dirt from runs), and a waist belt that can carry a phone (if your child has a phone) in case they get lost (while it’s happened only twice in nine years, it does happen - for the record, the kids were fine, and they were back at the start/finish before the end of practice).
